( ENSPIRE Community Spotlight ) Top-Rated South La-based Music School White Hall Arts Academy’s Music4la Classes Provide Affordable Virtual Instruction to Youth

South Los Angeles-based top-rated performing arts school, White Hall Arts Academy, is continuing to provide innovative music lessons for youth across the globe during this time of COVID-19. The White Hall Arts Academy recently announced their Music 4LA virtual fall sessions, where students can enroll in as many classes as they desire on Saturdays from Sept. 12th to Oct. 31st for only $35 per month. They’re offering classes available for those ages 8 to 17, including violin, guitar, piano, drums and percussion, voice and stage performance, and dance lab.
Tanisha Hall, the founder of the White Hall Arts Academy, has worked tirelessly to create a safe space for youth in South Los Angeles. Accompanying her is a staff of accomplished performers and teachers who have credits throughout the entertainment industry. The WHAA offers a conservatory-level curriculum focusing on the fundamental skills of technique, composition, artistry, and performance in music, dance, and drama.
The “Lewis Prize for Music” awarded WHAA with a $25,000 grant after recognizing the efforts to continue to provide for the youth during the pandemic. WHAA virtual music lessons and classes provide students with a temporary escape from worrying about COVID-19 or the unnerving climate surrounding social justice. Hall is utilizing funding from grants, major brands, and private donors to expand her effort to continue to support her deserving students.
For three consecutive years, WHAA has been awarded “Best Top 3 Music Schools in Los Angeles,” by Three Best Rated and is no stranger to developing the talent of dynamic young stars. Tanisha and her team of instructors teach an average of 100 students per week, including television stars and recording artists such as Sierra Capri, Sanai Victoria, Paloma Ford, Ant Clemons, and many more. Her students have appeared on all national talent competitions, including “American Idol,” “The Voice,” and “America’s Got Talent.”
