( ENSPIRE Community ) IMPACT Magazine Celebrated Elite Male Tastemakers During Men of Impact Weekend
Men of IMPACT debuted the Men of IMPACT Weekend in Atlanta Georgia this past June. The weekend kicked off with a VIP Grooming Lounge which featured complimentary facials by Ederra Bella Plastic Surgery & Spa, Massages by Mac featuring Young Living Essential Oils, Eighty5 cigars by Chad OchoCinco, and gift bags provided by Title Sponsor for the Grooming Lounge the Elite Firm. Guest enjoyed lite-bites, music, and a red carpet experience. “I created this event to honor men who are doing incredible things in the community. I believe we must celebrate those who are making an impact”, said Tunisha Brown, Founder of Men of IMPACT. Throughout the evening, several of the honorees were able to provide expressions to the audience in regards to their involvement with Men of Impact. “Sometimes we don’t stop to really recognize all of the great things we have done. This weekend is a true reflection and I’m thankful that Impact Magazine and Tunisha Brown are honoring me”, said critically acclaimed actor Isaiah Washington. Day 2 of Men of IMPACT was a night to remember as the Invite-Only honoree dinner took place in the 50th penthouse of the Four Seasons Hotel which overlooked the entire downtown Atlanta. Honorees enjoyed a sociable cocktail hour prior to hitting the red carpet then migrating into dinner. While at dinner, Tunisha Brown acknowledged each honoree, their achievements and the impact they have personally made on her life. As she provided a token of appreciation to each honoree by Omoyeni Jewelry, she shared a special story of when she began Impact Magazine & the Women of Impact Series. During this time, she recalled the support Torrance Hill provided to her. “Torrance would often purchase dozens of tickets to my events even if he could not make it, but that’s the love and support I received from him which I’m forever grateful”. Journalist and television personality, Jeff Johnson accepted his token of appreciation and express “I have been to many dinners before, but I’ve never experienced such a safe atmosphere such as this one. Tunisha, thank you for celebrating us men”.The honorees included:
