( ENSPIRE Entertainment ) Taylor Swift Will Be Recognized At The 2019 American Music Awards As The Artist of The Decade

Swift has won more awards at the American Music Awards than any artist and now will be getting honored for her hard work. “Taylor’s impact on music this decade is undeniable and her performances on the American Music Awards have been truly spectacular,” said Mark Bracco, Executive Vice President, Programming & Development, Dick Clark Productions. “We’re thrilled to honor her as our Artist of the Decade and can’t wait for her to blow everyone away with an epic, career-spanning performance unlike any other!”

There is speculation that Swift may be doing a performance during the awards, but it has not been confirmed as of now. Once a country star, Swift had to leap over boundaries and obstacles to cross over in the pop world, but over time she has created a lot of success crossing genres and it has worked for her throughout her career.

The “2019 American Music Awards” will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 24, 2019, at 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC.
