( ENSPIRE Entertainment ) Nicki Minaj Reveal New Documentary, “Nicki,” A Six Part Series

On July 28, Nicki Minaj revealed a teaser for her upcoming documentary, “Nicki,” which captures her life and rise to fame as a Trinidadian-born rapper. She explains how her career as a female rapper denied her gaining the same respect as male rappers in the industry.
Even though she did not announce the date for the release of the documentary, Minaj explained it will be coming soon. She leaked a trailer on her Instagram page showing clips of her when she was young when she was ambitious and hungry for the success she craved for. Through this, she is showing young women that they have the power to fight for their dreams.
Although fame might seem as if everything in a celebrity’s life is perfect, Minaj denies this. She emphasizes in the short clip that the music industry is not a loving and supportive place to be involved in. She also includes other individuals in her life, such as her husband, Kenneth Perry who was sentenced to three years of probation and on house arrest for a year.
Through these life battles, Minaj demonstrates how she tackled this difficult situation during her career. There is a positive display that blocks what actually occurs within the world of fame. This impactful documentary is produced by the Canadian production company, Bron Studios, to go deeper into the life of Minaj.
On her Instagram post, she wrote to her fans “Coming out SOONER THANK YOU THINK. I took some time to perfect this very intimate, delicate, electrifying, inspiring body of work. As I decide on a home for this project, I can’t help but reflect on what I’m including in this doc. Some things are so personal, it’s scary. It’s like NOTHING you’ve seen before and I need it to be handled with care. Love you so much. Thank you for the continued support.”
