Earlier this month, DisneyPlus Day today (Sep.8) commemorates two years as an entertainment platform with various movies and shows where families are ready to tune in to nostalgia and have complete access to new releases. Here is the complete rundown of the new series this month on Disney Plus:
Produced by Marvel Studios, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is a science fiction/comedy superhero show about Jennifer Walters, an attorney who has to adapt to a workload of new cases, navigating her life as a 6-foot-7-inch powerful Hulk and learning how to manage her newfound power and becoming a superhero, with the help of her cousin Bruce Banner known as Hulk while managing her dating life.

Feature live performances of global and Grammy-nominated South Korean boyband “BTS” at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles for their Permission to Dance tour, following a setlist of hit songs like “Life Goes On”, “Dynamite”, “Butter”, and “Permission to Dance” taking the heart of listeners-fans known as ARMY- since June 2013 with exclusive content like behind-the-scenes moments.

Produced by Marvel Studios, Thor: Love and Thunder is a comedy show following Thor, the God of Thunder on a path of self-reflection after the events of defeating Thanos in Avengers: Endgame and is planning to retire his life as a hero when he is confronted by Gorr the God butcher, a villain who seeks the destruction of gods. Working with King Valerie and his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster who then transforms into Thor to stop Gorr’s revenge.

Coming back as a live-action movie, a remake of the 1940 Disney animated classic “Pinocchio” has been an all-time favorite of many generations as it comes to DisneyPlus follows the quest of a puppet who becomes a real boy as he meets characters along the way like Jimmy the Cricket and learns the true value of courage and being noble.

Star Wars Andor is an action and science fiction television series, a prequel to the movie Rogue One (2016) where it is a continuation of Cassian Andor, a thief who transforms into a spy during the five years leading up to the events that happen in the film. It will explore the rebellion against the Empire and the involvement of its people and planets.

The Sanderson sisters are back on-screen following Disney’s original movie “Hocus Pocus” which aired back in 1993, a story about a teen named Max who accidentally frees a coven of witches who call themselves “The Sanderson sisters” who lights the black flame candle and now embark on an adventure find the witches book of spells to stop the Sanderson from becoming immortal. The second movie Hocus Pocus 2 is considered to be both a prequel and sequel of the Sanderson sisters and gives audiences their origin story. Forwarding now to 330 years later, Becca is a high schooler who celebrated her sixteen birthday unbeknownst to her she lights the black flame candle.
