Billboard chart-topping artist J.Brown sets out on his headlining tour on Wednesday, September 28th with special guest MARIAH. The tour starts in Chicago, IL, then continues across the country into October. The two artists will fill their venues with soulful, heartfelt, and melodic tracks that make audiences swoon.

“I am beyond thankful to embark on my mini-tour and to think that just 2 years ago I was on the same tour, same venues, but as an opening act for Elle Varner, it truly feels amazing to know that through God, faith, and hard work, all things are possible,” J.Brown said in a press release. “I am just grateful to be in this moment and to bring MARIAH. on the road as she begins her own journey.”

The tour follows J.Brown’s debut album, “CHAPTER & VERSE.” J. Brown started his music career singing in his church’s choir. After attending Grambling State University, he released his own top ten UAC Billboard hits “Give It 2 U”, “Sunrise Sunset”, “Moon” and “Vibe.”

The tour isn’t the only thing J.Brown is up to lately. He is releasing the deluxe version of “CHAPTER & VERSE” on September 30th, which will have three new songs on the tracklist. Last month, he released the music video to his song “I just Can’t Love You.”

“This is a very special song for me as I can sing about the emotions that sometimes we as men, society does not allow for us to speak about,” J.Brown said of the song. “It touches on mental health awareness and how one can recognize that right now is not the perfect time to give his woman what she deserves. He is being vulnerable in admitting to her and himself that he just can’t love her right now because he is not able to love himself.”

J.Brown is performing alongside special guest MARIAH., who is known for her Billboard Top 30 R&B song, “Material Girl” as well as her latest single “BIZNESS.” MARIAH. has a colorful history in music, dance, and acting. She has also partnered with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s #LoveMusicStopCancer campaign. The tour comes after the release of her “BIZNESS” music video, available on YouTube.

“Material Girl is written from the viewpoint of a woman at a crossroads. Should she remain in a relationship that caters to the material and superficial while neglecting what is truly important? In the process of finding herself again, she outlines what is missing: Loyalty. Time. Love. Patience. Teamwork. The things that money cannot buy,” mentions Mariah.

Both artists are excited to embark on the tour. They are both passionate about sharing their lively music with audiences across the country.

“I want to bring back music that will ultimately make people fall back in love. I want to take fans to a musical realm where love is light and fun. I want people to say, ‘This guy has music that is not only good, but timeless!”
