Coco Jones is a rising R&B singer and star of Peacock’s series Bel-Air. She has recently shared her debut EP “What I Didn’t Tell You” via High Standardz and Def Jam Recordings. “What I Didn’t Tell You is all about the stories that happen off-camera. This project will hopefully share my real-life experiences with my fans and show them that I’m just like them. Sometimes people see me as the characters I play, but these stories are my own script,” says Jones. Following this EP are her two songs “Caliber” and “ICU” which have music videos for them and are 2/7 songs off her EP.
Earlier this week Jones released “ICU”. She says, “‘ICU’ is about the push and pull of being in a relationship where the circumstances have changed. Growing in our career and personal goals, but growing apart at the same time.” Following her EP release, her debut “Caliber” was directed by Tenaya Taylor and has earned Coco a Best New Artist nomination at the 2022 BET Soul Train Awards. On October 28 Jones released a duet collaboration with Babyface on “Simple” from his new album “Girls Night Out”.
This twenty-four-year-old was raised in Nashville and was encouraged to pursue music by her mother, a singer, and her father, an NFL player. She recorded demos at nine years old and her mother would burn CDs to introduce her at auditions.
