( ENSPIRE Entertainment ) “A Nashville Legacy,” on The Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel

To celebrate the pride of the city of Nashville, in the new Hallmark Mahogany film “A Nashville Legacy”, Hallmark Media hosted an exclusive screening event and reception on Friday, February 24, 2023, at the National Museum of African American Music. The show premiered on Sunday, February 26 at 7/6 p.m. CST on the Hallmark Mahogany Movies and Mysteries channel. Nashville Legacy is a romantic drama that follows Naima and Damian, as they meet and get close to each other, sharing their love for music and their desire to leave their marks on the world.
The event started with an exclusive reception, where guests mixed and mingled over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while they took pictures against the film’s branded step and repeat banner.
The event featured several special guest appearances. The film’s star, Pooch Hall, along with The Shindellas, also featured in the movie and music, movie executive Phil Thornton and Hallmark Media SVP of Programming and Development, Toni Judkins. The special guests delighted attendees with a post-film Q&A led by local Nashville radio personality, Averianna the Personality.

Mahogany is a new Hallmark movie brand inspired by the Mahogany cards and gifts collection that is made to celebrate Black identity. After years of criticism that Hallmark movies have failed to represent a diverse audience, they decided to extend their content according to their themes of – family, community, connection, positivity, and the power of love, to create a new series of movies through the unique lens of Black culture.
