For all of us looking for the perfect summer concert, this show is the perfect opportunity. North to Shore Music Festival, in association with S.J. Presents, Black Promoters Collective, announced that three bombshell artists will share the stage at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Jazmine Sullivan, Jhene Aiko, and Queen Naija will light up the stage on June 23rd, 2023. This show is anticipated to sell out fast, with audiences able to purchase tickets starting April 7th.

ENSPIRE Magazine loves to highlight musical talent and especially show-stopping collaborations like this one. These three black female artists are a powerhouse of musical artistry that is leading and inspiring their generation. Audiences can look forward to a breathtaking show in the state-of-the-art Prudential Center, which is also home to the GRAMMY Museum Experience. ENSPIRE encourages readers to get to know the artists and their success before going to better understand how meaningful this concert will be.

Jazmine Sullivan is often cited as one of today’s most dynamic vocalists. She is a multi-grammy-nominated singer/songwriter and is consistently topping the charts with her fresh albums. Her latest release is her album titled “Heaux Tales” which debuted at No. 1 on the R&B Albums chart, No. 2 on the R&B/Hip Hop chart, and No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. Her songs touch on vulnerable parts of her life with her dynamic vocal abilities leaving listeners awestruck.

Following Jazmine’s performance will be Jhene Aiko. Jhene is a true music industry stalwart, having amassed over a decade’s worth of features on singles, albums, and mixtapes by A-listers such as Kendrick Lamar, Wale, Big Sean, Logic, J. Cole, Drake, and others. Most recently, Jhene is featured on Big Sean’s single “Beware” from his Hall of Fame album. She is also featured on Drake’s “From Time.” Jhene has also participated in the Beats By Dre “Pill Box” and “Show Your Color” campaigns, showing how she goes beyond her music to make a positive impact on her community. Her desire to give back compliments her amazing success and continue being a role model for developing artists.

Finally, Newcomer Queen Naija will join these ladies on the big stage. This singer/songwriter has cemented her status as one of R&B’s most compelling young stars. Hailed as “the first soul star of the social media generation” by The New York Times, the 25-year-old Detroit native has amassed over three billion combined global streams to date. Queen struck out on her own with her breakthrough single “Medicine,” which debuted at No. 45 on the Billboard Hot 100 (a nearly unheard-of achievement for an unsigned artist). Her projects and EPs have landed her countless award nominations, and she stands to be one of the most successful up-and-coming artists of her time.

ENSPIRE can’t wait to see these female artists dominate the stage this June during their shared show. Not only are they insanely talented, but they also have given so much back to the community, and consistently showcase their authenticity through their music.
