Brandy Releases Soulful New Holiday Album “Christmas with Brandy”

The R&B icon, Brandy, released her first-ever Holiday album on November 10th called “Christmas with Brandy” via Motown Records. Twelve songs with soulful interpretations of seasonal classics and offering layers of harmonies and melodies. According to Vibe, “Christmas with Brandy will be a gift for the masses this holiday season.”

Since her 1994 self-titled debut album, which won quadruple Platinum, an intro to what would be a long music career, decades in this business, she brought album after album, showcasing her powerful and controlled vocals. She released the  “Never Say Never” album in 1998, which got “The Boy Is Mine” to be a Grammy-winner. Fast forward to her  2020 album, “B7,” which cemented her as an artist in the R&B community and beyond.

Brandy’s first song of the album, “Feels Different,” gives sassy energy, which showcases the R&B artist’s swag. Music highlights include the “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” with its infectious holiday charm. She reinvents some classics, such as “Deck the Halls” and “Jingle Bells.” You can look forward to her original songs, including her steamy single “Christmas Party for Two” and “Christmas Gift,” and her music with daughter Sy’Rai, “Someday at Christmas.”  

Brandy recently starred in a new Netflix original film with Heather Graham called “Best. Christmas. Ever!” which aired November 16th. In addition, she will be performing at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
