Last year, in 2023, the nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards were announced. In these nominations, we can see SZA receive multiple nominations for songs from her new album “SOS,” released in December 2022. The album includes popular tracks such as “Kill Bill,” “Low,” and “Snooze.” It also features collaborations with popular artists including Don Toliver, Travis Scott, and Phoebe Bridgers. SOS has had an amazing run on the Billboard 200 list, holding the top spot for a remarkable ten weeks. The album had several number-one songs, with “Kill Bill” and “Used” featuring Don Toliver.

SZA has been in the industry for multiple years now; she initially garnered recognition for her EPs “See.SZA.Run.” and “Z.” In 2017, SZA released her first debut album, “CTRL,” which became the second-longest charting R&B album by a female artist on the Billboard 200. In addition, SZA received four nominations in the 2018 Grammy Awards along with well-known artist Kendrick Lamar, which were Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap/Sung Performance, and Best Song Written for Visual Media for their collaboration “All the stars are closer.” Not only that, but SZA gained more recognition and popularity through her collaboration with Travis Scott on the song “Love Galore.” This track marked SZA’s first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, which became SZA’s first Hot 100, peeking at number 32.

In 2024, SZA received nine nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards; all these nominations include tracks from her latest album, “SOS.” The nominations were Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best R&B Performance, Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, Best Progressive R&B Album, and Best Melodic Rap Performance. These nine nominations made SZA the most Grammy-nominated artist for the 2024 Grammy Awards.

SOS, SZA’s second album, was and remains incredibly successful. The album topped the Billboard 200 list for ‌ten weeks. In addition, it set a record in the U.S.; it became the 

highest-streamed R&B album in only one week. With “Kill Bill,” SZA could achieve her first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100.

SZA has established herself as an influential artist for people all over the world. She is a well-respected artist for her many achievements and her impact. In addition, thanks to her extraordinary talent and persistent dedication, both her albums “CTRL” and “SOS” have gained a lot of streams and connected with listeners deeply, making a big impact on music worldwide.
