Just Women’s Sports has recently announced the “Just Women’s Sports Spot,” an event that looks to take the classic sports bar experience and implement entirely women’s sports. “The Spot” kicked off in New York City during the semifinal of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, and also featured the JWS preview show, the Warm-Up. All of this hosted by Hall of Famer Lisa Leslie, and two-time All-Star, Chiney Ogwumike. “We know fans are clamoring for news and information around women’s sports, and now we’re seeing more and more brands wanting to get involved. The Spot gives us another opportunity to shine the spotlight on women’s sports, and also brings the JWS brand to life for fans to see the impact we’re collectively having on the growth of women’s sports,” said Haley Rosen, Founder, and CEO of Just Women’s Sports.

The first of its kind basketball edition of The Warm Up streamed on the Just Women’s Sports TikTok channel, which featured a unique commentary from Leslie and Ogwumike. The 45-minute show provided groundbreaking analysis, news, and context to all fans. “It’s awesome to ‌shine the spotlight on all these amazing women kicking butt in sport and I’m 100% loving the much-deserved attention women are receiving in sports at all levels. I’m here to support and help grow the game any way I can.” commented Leslie. Additional events on “The Spot” tour will be announced in the coming weeks, each one anchored around an important event in women’s sports.
