Angie Stone is a multi-award-winning singer and songwriter. The SRG/ILS group is excited to announce a new partnership with Angie Stone and Walter Millsap III’s Conjunction Entertainment. A noted singer, songwriter, actor, and producer, Angie Stone is a neo-soul pioneer, and Walter is a noted veteran producer and songwriter who has worked with Beyonce’, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Brandy, and many others.

Angie started her career as a teenager when her Hip Hop group The Sequence signed with the legendary Sugar Hill Records. Her next endeavor was with the sophisticated R&B trio Vertical Hold who had a top 40 hit single “Seems You’re Much Too Busy.” But Angie really made her mark as a solo artist with the release of the albums Black Diamond in 1999 and Mahogany Soul in 2001. These albums spearheaded the New-Soul movement and have become standards of the R&B genre. Throughout her career, Angie has collaborated with a who’s who of producers, songwriters, and performers including Calvin Richardson, Betty Wright, D’Angelo, Jaheim, and many, many others.

“Angie stone is the real deal! A true soul and R&B vocalist and songwriter of legendary status. We at SRG are so excited to welcome her and her esteemed manager/producer, Walter Millsap, to our ever-growing family. I can feel the magic. It’s about to go down again,” said Claude Villani (founder and CEO of the SRG/ILS group).

“After receiving several calls from good friends Aaron “Freedom” Lyles and Robert Ross urging me to call the head of SRG, Mr. Claude Villani. I did exactly that, and I am certainly glad I did! After speaking with him, I knew instantly that SRG was the home for Conjunction Entertainment and Angie. We are pleased to be partnered with the SRG family,” said Walter W. Millsap III (CEO Conjunction Entertainment/Manager).

“I have been in the music business for more than four decades, and having a fantastic team brings a certain peace. When the head of my label and manager, Walter Millsap, suggested that we do this partnership with Claude and SRG, I did not blink an eye. Claude’s passion and enthusiasm are electric and contagious,” said Angie Stone.

Expect new music from Angie in the first half of 2023 as she wraps up production on her latest album. It will be an instant classic and immediately impact the R&B world!
