New trending artist Bia and Hip-Hop veteran Rapsody, hosted an exclusive dinner bringing the influential voices in Hip-Hop together to celebrate its past, present, and future. This took place during Rolling Loud which is the largest Hip-Hop festival in the world. Rolling Loud was hosted at Hollywood Park Grounds adjacent to SoFi Stadium from March 3rd-5th. The festival has been known to hold performances from Hip-Hop icons including Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, Kendrick Lamar and Nipsey Hussle. CÎROC and Mass Appeal kicked off the official Hip-Hop 50th celebration with this dinner.
Besides celebrating Hip Hop’s 50th anniversary, the dinner celebrated the women who forged their way into the Hip Hop industry from working backstage to working front and center. Among the many notable figures from the industry was Award-Winning songwriter and artist, Jozzy. Jozzy raised a glass of CÎROC and made a toast to the change makers and innovators in the industry such as herself.
The dinner consisted of many public figures famous in the Hip-Hop scene where they enjoyed a four-course meal, CÎROC cocktails, and celebrated the women and artists in Hip-Hop culture.
CÎROC and Mass Appeal continue to celebrate women and give them a platform in an industry where they have previously not gotten the chance to shine. The event celebrated the women who paved the way for artists today and the women who will continue their legacy now and in the future. It’s important to not only give these women a place in the industry but also recognize them for all they’ve been able to accomplish.
