While the Tonys, Met Gala and other significant Hollywood occasions have been dropped or deferred due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 BET Awards are pushing ahead as a virtual festival. The function that perceives and respects Black accomplishments and culture over an assortment of classifications will utilize “a variety of creative methods and craftsman produced content” considering the COVID-19 pandemic. The current year’s show, which denotes the twentieth commemoration of the BET Awards, comes in the midst of fights and calls to end fundamental prejudice.

The awards show will be broadcast live across Viacom CBS networks, including BET and BET HER, and will make its national broadcast premiere on CBS.
