Leading Hollywood special events group A-List Communications, with its sponsor partners GREY GOOSE® Essences, PAC Protocol, Peroni Beer, and Billionaires Row Champagne, brought their exclusive “Supper Suite” pop-up back to support films at the Festival in June 2021. Filmmakers and select guests toasted a return to live events since the coronavirus pandemic forced film festival cancellations in early 2020. Hosted at newly opened Gerber Group’s restaurant and lounge, Nearly Ninth within the Arlo Midtown, the Supper Suite hosted some of the first social gatherings at the first live and in person film festival post pandemic. It was an exciting resurrection of the time-honored tradition of filmmakers, media, and celebrity cast members joining together again to celebrate their collaborative work and the films they have made. Attending A-List celebrities included Elijah Wood, Katie Holmes, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexandra Shipp, Vinessa Shaw and many more. The curated event schedule ran from June 11 – 15 and included:
Friday, June 11th: Pre-reception and dinner for “NO MAN OF GOD,” directed by Amber Sealey and starring Elijah Wood (Lord of The Rings, Star Wars Resistance), Luke Kirby (Lenny Bruce, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Robert Patrick (Terminator), and Aleska Palladino (The Irishman).
Saturday, June 12th: Red-carpet special screening and after-reception for “ASKING FOR IT” starring Vanessa Hudgens (Rent Live, Bad Boys for Life), Alexandra Ship (X-Men films), Kiersey Clemmons (Lady & The Tramp, The Flash), and Ezra Miller (The Flash).
Sunday, June 13th: Pre-reception for “CATCH THE FAIR ONE” hosted by Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan, The Wrestler) and starring Kali Reis (2021 Oscar winner for Nomadland), Shelito Vincent (boxing world champion), and Tiffany Chu (Ms. Purple, Artificial).
Monday, June 14th: Pre-reception for “12 MIGHTY ORPHANS” starring Luke Wilson (Goldfinch, Zombieland: Double Tap), Vanessa Shaw (3:10 to Yuma), Martin Sheen (The Departed, Apocalypse Now), and Robert Duvall (Open Range, Apocalypse Now). Hosted at BiCE Culina SoHo at 15 Watts Street in SoHo.
Tuesday, June 15th: Pre-reception for Sony Pictures Classics film “I CARRY YOU WITH ME” starring Armando Espitia (Heli), Christian Vasquez (Elysium), Michelle Rodriguez (Emma), and directed by Heidi Ewing.
Sponsors supporting the event included premiere spirits partner GREY GOOSE Essences, the all-new and line of GREY GOOSE vodkas infused with real fruit and cold-distilled botanicals. Guests at all events will be treated to a custom menu of naturally vibrant Essences cocktails, with flavors including White Peach & Rosemary, Strawberry & Lemongrass, and Watermelon & Basil. GREY GOOSE Essences is proud to support these exciting new films and the return of live film events during the Tribeca Film Festival.
Attending filmmakers, A-List celebrities and cast members toasted their film premiere successes with Billionaires Row champagne, the high-quality champagne with a distinct and modern taste that is perfect for any occasion.
Long-term sponsor partner, Molson Coors Beverage Company, returned to its five-year commitment to the Supper Suite to serve Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Italy’s premier lager and one of the fastest-growing European imports. With a crisp, refreshing liquid that balances bitterness, citrus, and spicy aromatic notes, Peroni embodies the best in Italian craftsmanship and perfectly pairs with the high-end culinary experiences like the annual Supper Suite at Tribeca.
Food pairing for the event was furnished by Nearly Ninth Executive Chef Corey Becker, who describes the fare as “classic American with Italian influences.” The menu featured comfort foods and relatable dishes, all elevated with premium ingredients, locally sourced from the best purveyors in the Northeast like Natoora and Buon’Italia.
Additionally, PAC Protocol, a premier technology and blockchain partner, will be showcasing its PAC App mobile wallet connecting customers with a fast and more cost-effective way to send, save and store digital transactions globally. #WHOSGOTYOURDATA Do we really know? PAC Protocol provides a more secure way to store your valuable data. Digital data transfer includes everything from crypto currency to full Hollywood movie files for transfer of DCP files from filmmaker to filmmaker or distributor to theater.
“The pandemic most certainly challenged our live event business and our ability to work with our partners on the filmmaker, hospitality, and brand marketer side, so we’re just thrilled to be able to be leading the charge in creating safe and secure social gatherings all in effort to revitalize in-person experience and commerce,” concluded A-List Communications’ Chief Marketing Officer, David Manning.
