Philanthropy is one of the many things the whole world could use a lot more of. This is especially true for the beginning of a new year, or the end of the current one. As January comes to a close, everyone is starting to feel the effects of settling into 2024. But, let’s not forget some of the positive impacts made in recent history.

On December 21st, 2023, Beverly Hills’ elite gathered in the home of Adrienne Maloof to celebrate the holiday season. The star of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills hosted her highly-anticipated holiday party in her mansion in Beverly Hills. The event was hosted to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and the Amazing Grace Conservatory. Celebrity attendees included Stevie Wonder, Lala Milan, Jeannie Mai, Kita Williams, Jessica Betts, MAJOR., Ava DuVernay, and more.

The party doubled as a toy drive with around 1200 unwrapped toys being donated to the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles to make for a memorable Christmas. Maloof would host similar invite-only holiday events every year, but last year’s was a bit more special. Mainly because the 2023 party was a collaboration effort with Niecy Nash-Betts. Nash-Betts plays a large role in the Amazing Grace Conservatory, an NAACP award-winning program.

The Amazing Grace Conservatory is a performing art school for children in the inner city. So, Maloof and Nash-Betts wanted to take the opportunity to turn a fun party into something that helped kids. The 2023 holiday celebration was more than a gathering of friends and family, it was a way for a lot of people to pay kindness forward. This collaborative celebration is what Maloof called a “Party With A Purpose.”

The party was full of live music, amazing food, outstanding outfits, beautiful decorations, and smiles all around. Continue reading to see more pictures of the event.

Despite Maloof’s party having ended in 2023, seeing many of Beverly Hills’ elite helping their community is nothing short of admirable. Doing something philanthropic in a celebrative way promotes good vibes for everyone. Hopefully, 2024 will have just as many amazing ways to party with a purpose. After all, paying things forward shouldn’t be something left in the past and maybe Miloof will have even bigger plans for this year’s holiday party.
