Multiple Grammy Award Winner Beyoncé’s do-it-again new album “Renaissance” is breaking the music industry this July. After its release on July 29, “Renaissance” is Beyoncé’s seventh album and was released via Capitol Records and Parkwood Entertainment.

Beyoncé is finally bringing something back to the table after her famous album “Lemonade,” released in 2016. “Renaissance” will be something new compared to what Beyoncé has done in the past. This album will be a trilogy, and this is Act I of all three albums. She took this album to create something that would reflect her life and state of mind during the pandemic to share with her listeners. She shared with her fans before the album release that she had been recording for the past three years. She wrote and produced the songs with artists Nova Wave, BloodPop, Skrillex, and Tricky Stewart.

The first single for the album, “Break My Soul,” was released on June 20 and eventually reached the top 10 on the singles charts in eight different countries. The single also reached number seven on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. “Renaissance” made its way up the charts because it is an upbeat pop and R&B album where she includes themes about self-worth, sex, and hedonism. Her album is also dedicated to her family, including her children, husband Jay-Z, and Uncle Jonny, who battled HIV.

Beyonce’s cover art for the album is one of a kind as well. In her cover image, she is pictured sitting on a “holographic,” “crystal horse,” wearing a “futuristic, centipede-ish bikini.” The unique outfit was explicitly designed for Beyoncé by Nusi Quero. The crystal top she is seen wearing she wore in the past on her “Dangerously In Love” album cover.
